Dmitry Kuznetsov is a senior machine learning researcher at Avast, based in Prague. He joined Avast in 2014 and since then has been working on new methods of malware detection with AI, and AI applications for network security in Avast’s next-generation IoT security platform, Avast Smart Home. In his role, Dmitry also collaborates with top universities as an industry expert, and recently worked on a study exploring the security of IoT devices around the world, published by Avast in collaboration with Stanford University.
Dmitry holds a Masters Degree in mathematics from the Ural Federal University. Before joining Avast, he worked as a team lead in the web search quality department at Yandex, the leading Russian search engine.
