Avast President of Consumer, Ondrej Vlcek, participated in a panel, along with six other panelists, titled "Cybersecurity as key for a Digital Economy and Society" at ICT 2018: Imagine Digital - Connect Europe.
Ondrej Vlcek is Avast’s EVP & GM, Consumer. Prior to becoming EVP & GM, Consumer and CTO, Ondrej served as Avast’s Chief Operations Officer and before that as Avast’s Chief Technical Officer, managing research and development, including the Avast Virus Lab. He joined Avast as a software developer in 1995 and was part of the team that developed the company’s first antivirus program for Windows in 2003. He holds an M.S. in Mathematics from Czech Technical University in Prague and commenced post-graduate studies in non-linear optimization at Charles University in Prague's Faculty of Mathematics and Physics.
