Prague, Czech Republic, January 23, 2018 – Avast, the global leader in digital security products, has added 23 new server locations to its Avast SecureLine VPN service. This increases the number of servers users can connect through to 41 locations in 33 countries (previously: 21 countries). Avast SecureLine VPN acts like a tunnel, encrypting user data, thus forming a virtual shield that makes the user’s activities invisible to others. Swiss, Austrian, Danish, and Norwegian users, as well as users in eight more countries can now enjoy even faster VPN connection speeds when safely connecting to the respective servers within their home countries.

In addition to protecting users’ online activities, Avast SecureLine VPN gives users the option to change their location while browsing, allowing them to access geo-restricted content in their home countries, like streaming TV from their local stations, when traveling abroad.
